We've just returned from a 5 day holiday in Darwin and I wanted to let you know the highlight of our trip was the sunset cruise on the Tumlaren. I so glad we followed your recommendation as our old little fella had an absolute ball, as did we. The Tumlaren was perfect for Sam (our 12 month old) as he was able to spend the whole time crawling around and pulling himself up to look over the side.
Our hosts were Kyle and Shane and both are a credit to your organisation. They interacted well with the group, gave good commentary and at times, had us in stitches. The food was great too.
Thanks again for a wonderful time and we'll definitely be recommending you guys to our friends and family.

The Darwin Cruises & Charters Sunset Dinner Cruise was very enjoyable, and I consider good value with ample food and fun staff.
* Darwin Harbour Cruise Great! I could do that every night!!!

Darwin Harbour Dinner Cruise (Alfred Nobel) Loved the cruise was also one of my favourite things that we did. As I enjoy food and wine, this is a really good way to see the Darwin Harbour the food was brilliant and well worth the price you would pay for it.
Darwin Harbour Dinner Cruise (Alfred Nobel) - very good - food was lovely and service was enthusiastic. I would however like a brief commentary of sights we went past on the outbound journey. A light-hearted commentary by cruise staff would be welcomed.

Hi there,
This is Cat from Youth Shack. Firstly I and my partner would like to say a big thank you for our cruise on the Tumlaren.
The evening was great fun. It is a very good set up. The Host and the skipper were both very friendly and informative. They were Red and Shay. Red at one point actually made a phone call to the boss just so he could get the right answer to one ladies question. They were both great crew.
The food was also really yummy, especially the croc and roo and of course the glass of champagne was an extra nice touch. I can honestly say the evening was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and I will strongly recommend it to our customers. Everyone on board seemed to be having a great time from children through to the elderly (although one poor lady was sea-sick).

Hi Renee,
Just wanted to thank you so much for all your help in organizing my 60th Birthday on board the Tumlaren on 13 September 2008. I thoroughly enjoyed my time on the cruise and it was all I expected to me.
The staff on the cruise were most helpful and polite, as well as cheerful adding to the atmosphere.
Everyone who attended the party has had positive comments also and would be back again.

It is the ultimate way to see the sunset in Darwin, great meal to accompany it, wonder crew service & fun
So much so that we plan to visit Darwin again in Sept 09 when I will be bringing friends to experience the same

Just spoke with David Williams in Darwin, he said the cruise was FANTASTIC. Feedback from all involved they were ecstatic!

"Thank you for your excellent service at all levels. We had a wonderful night. Even though there were separate booking, we ended up as one group. We all shared the munchies, birthday cake and glow sticks. Everyone was talking to everyone and it was a perfect night. Kate had a wonderful birthday.
Everything that was done by everyone at every step of planning and going on the cruise, was friendly and perfectly done.
Kate will remember her 50th birthday cruise as something special.

The food was fantastic and the staff were fantastic and got along well with the passengers.

Hi Rachel,
I just wanted to say a huge thank you and to tell you how impressed I was with the cruise on the Alfred Nobel. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute and your staff are truly fantastic. They have every aspect of the cruise down to a fine art, were extremely courteous and friendly and were extremely efficient in keeping everyone onboard extremely well fed. I was seated with a couple of ladies from my neck of the woods, the Sunshine Coast, and they couldn’t mention enough what a great time they were having.I will be including a write up in our next staff newsletter to encourage staff to sell sell sell. I just loved it. The only downside is that I found that my camera had broken just before boarding the cruise, so I had to make do with taking glorious sunset pictures on my mobile phone! Though I did send one to tease my manager on what a fantastic time I was having.Hopefully I will be talking to you soon.

Just a note of thanks.
My name is Neil Morris and I had mistakenly booked my parents, my wife and myself on the Gourmet Sunset Cruise when I should have been booking the Sunset Dinner Cruise.
When I spoke to you regarding this mix up, through either good luck (some cancellations) or good management on your part you were able to put us on the Dinner Cruise.
It was a good night, good staff, good food and good company.
This was a special trip for my folks as it was a 60th wedding anniversary gift and a chance for my father, now 86, to revisit Darwin where he was stationed after the first bombings for a period of 12months before they were sent overseas.
Anyway enough history, just wanted to thank you again for fitting us in and providing a great evening.

I would like to thank you for taking care of my sister and her partner on the dinner cruise and making it a memorable experience for them. I understand they had a table for two, which was special. Ann phoned me while she was on the cruise and it was clear she was on cloud nine, the one with the sunset lining. You may or may not know that they had been involved in a car accident while travelling in a cab earlier in the day, so the cruise brought some calm back to them. Thank you so much.
When my wife and I are next in Darwin we will be booking for the cruise. We didn't have the time last time we were up, but it is a must.
