Our cruises depart from DOCK 3, located at the very end of Stokes Hill Wharf, City Side. Our crew members will meet guests under the large blue umbrellas and will commence boarding 20 minutes prior to the cruise departure time.
Parking on Stokes Hill Wharf is maximum of 3 hours. Given our boarding and embarking times we do not recommend guests park on the wharf, as fines are given if the 3 hours is exhausted. Our recommendation is to park over by the Darwin Convention Centre and walk the 400m across to Dock 3 for boarding.
Darwin Harbour Cruise’s vessels both contain licensed bars and kitchens, therefore BYO alcohol or food is not permitted on our scheduled cruises. We accept cash, Visa or MasterCard (Amex is unavailable)
Charles Darwin – offers a cruise snack menu for our Sunset cruise passengers.
Tumlaren – When exclusively chartering the vessel, BYO food and/or beverages is permitted at a charge of $100.00, which includes a large esky, 3 x 12kg bags of ice, acrylic glassware and a water station. BYO catering must be ‘ready to eat’ for example cheese platters, sushi platters, chips and dips etc. No cooking facilities are available.
The Charles Darwin is a non-smoking environment, the perfect opportunity to sit back, relax and enjoy the ride.
Charles Darwin – Yes, the Captain Deck toilets are located down a small flight of stairs (11 steps) from our main deck. To access the toilet facilities on the Bridge Deck, please use a flight of stairs 12 steps).
